Last Roundup for Lile, Maupin, Tuttle and Webb

The students living in those four buildings will be the last to ever do so.  In the next phase of the demolition/construction project for the Alderman Road Area, all four are being demolished in the summer of 2011.

The two buildings currently under construction are scheduled to be completed in May, 2011.  As those bed spaces come on line, the next phase will begin.  Three additional buildings will be built in the next phase of the project.

For more detailed information on the project, please go to the Housing Division web page.

As a student actually living in Maupin next year, though we’ll obviously follow all fire safety regulations, since we’re the last class, will we be allowed to freely write on the walls, or will there still be rules against such actions?

Same question: I’ll be living in Webb, and I had heard that we will be allowed to paint the rooms and have more freedoms with it. Will that be true on move-in day? It’d be great to plan ahead.

    Thanks!

      Ben,

I have now been told that students will be allowed to paint in their rooms -only. The Common Areas will stay as they are. In the rooms, the painting needs to be limited to the already painted surfaces of walls also — not everything else.

      John
